The Chamber's April 7 Health & Wellness Expo is the biggest yet, filling the exhibitor space with over 80 exhibitors!
The Expo is title-sponsored by Stop & Shop, corporate sponsored by Hallmark Health and Winchester Hospital/Lahey Health, and business sponsored by Commonwealth Pediatrics, The Arbors at Stoneham and The Energy Barre. Passport sponsors are Life Care Center of Stoneham and CrossCountry Mortgage. Entertainment sponsor is Spinner Music Productions.
Exhibitors comprise a wide range of health, wellness, fitness and preventive health businesses, offering information, promotions and coupons for attendees. Many will be on hand to offer, vein, and blood sugar and blood pressure screenings, sun damage, sleep disorder and other assessments, lots of free snacks, free samples, give-aways, demonstrations, free chair massages, prize drawings, and much more. The Expo also runs alongside the huge indoor yard sale presented by the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham in the school’s cafeteria. CPR Training will take place for all those who have pre-registered for the 9:00am class.
New this year is “Saving Senior Smiles”, a special oral health program geared to seniors developed through a Massachusetts Dental Society Foundation grant, in conjunction with Boston University’s Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. “Saving Senior Smiles” will begin at 10:00am in Project Room 106, and will include a presentation, opportunities for Questions and Answers, and a gift bag for all seniors who sign on and attend.
