In these unprecedented times, we are reminded that when challenged our community will come together to help one another. In that spirit and in support of our small business community, the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce will donate a family meal (of a value of approximately $100) each Friday & Saturday to an essential worker, friend, colleague or neighbor at random that has been nominated by a Stoneham resident.
Please take a moment to nominate a friend, neighbor and/or colleague to receive a free delivered meal from a Stoneham restauarant. Just for submitting a nomination, the Chamber of Commerce will donate $5 to one of the following charities on your behalf.
• First Congregational Church Food Pantry/Cards for Community
• Stoneham Senior Center/Essential Bags for Seniors
• Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham/PPE 3-D Printing & Meal Support
Who can to be nominated. The only criteria for nomination is that this person must reside in Stoneham. Whether you nominate someone as acknowledgement for an act of kindness or because they could use a pick-me-up, all reasons will be weighed equally.
How it works. Complete the online nomination form using the link below. Two winners will be selected randomly on Friday of each week in May. You may nominate more than one person per week (but not the same person multiple times).
