Stoneham Town Day 2016
COMMUNITY GROUPS - LOCAL BUSINESSES - STONEHAM RESIDENTS!
This year’s Town Day was a tremendous success! Organizers saw record vendor participation with 144 exhibitors, and by some accounts, record attendance. Particularly heartening is the participation by more and more Stoneham-centered Town organizations, school groups, youth groups and non-profit organizations. Their strong participation sets Stoneham Town Day apart from many other communities’ town-wide celebrations.
Plans are already underway for growing the event for 2017! Make sure to mark your calendars for this wonderful celebration - September 16, 2017!
Town Day has been the signature Stoneham hometown event for many years with Town Day 2013 marking the 30th annual festivities. A day-long celebration, it takes place on the Stoneham Town Common in mid-September every year, just after the schools are back in session and at the start of the beautiful New England fall season.
Town Day began on a much smaller scale as a way for Chamber of Commerce businesses to showcase their products and services to the Stoneham community. Over the years it has grown to include many school and non-profit organizations, local performers and entertainment, a variety of area food retailers, and numerous fun activities one expects at outdoor fairs.
We’re hoping you will join us for Town Day, and experience the welcoming hometown spirit of the Stoneham community. There are many opportunities to volunteer, exhibit, perform, and thoroughly enjoy this outdoor fair. Information about Town Day is generally available on this website by late May or early June of each year.
We look forward to seeing you at Town Day!
