The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Stoneham have collaborated on a Clear Channel digital billboard project that highlights the Stoneham community. The billboard is located at I-93 and Montvale Avenue, at one of the main entrances to Stoneham.
Styled like the destination postcards popularized in the 1940’s and 1950’s, this design captures a lot about Stoneham - in eight letters.
“It’s a perfect image out there on I-93”, says Town Administrator Tom Younger. “Stoneham has so much to offer. The pictures inside the letters showcase some of the community elements that are important to new residents and attractive to visitors.”
Though just an eight-letter sampling, these images depict Stoneham’s “town look and feel”, its burgeoning restaurant scene, and its popular attractions; Greater Boston Stage Company, Stone Zoo and the expansive Middlesex Fells Reservation and Spot Pond recreation areas.
