Local Eats Week is a variation on Restaurant Weeks events that take place across the country, is offered annually through the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce and in partnership with Salem Five Bank. The purpose of Local Eats Week is to drive patrons to Stoneham eateries during what might otherwise be a slow time for business. This is a great opportunity for your restaurant to showcase itself, attract new customers and support fellow restaurant owners.
This year’s event will take place from Monday, May 17 through Sunday, May 23. We invite all restaurants to participate in offering a promotion of their choice. Example promotions could include prix fixe menu options, daily discounts and special deals throughout the week.
In addition to week long promotions and offers, we have added a Take-Out & a Movie Night on the Town Common on Friday, May 21 where attendees are encouraged to dine in prior to the show or get take-out to enjoy during it.
As we have done in years past, the Chamber will promote Local Eats Week through a comprehensive advertising campaign designed to drive customers to local restaurants, bakeries and eateries. Among the ways, we will be promoting this event will include press releases, an insert in the Stoneham Independent, a web and social media campaign and digital billboard advertising.
There is no cost to participate. We believe that the success of this event is dependent on members of the restaurant community coming together in support of one another to demonstrate the variety of options there are available to restaurant-goers in Stoneham.
