The big foodie event will see an exciting change this year when it takes on a more regional format. In collaboration with the Melrose, Reading-No. Reading and Wakefield Chambers of Commerce, our communities will promote Local Eats Week similar to the 2015 and 2016 Restaurant Weeks, but more aligned with the “Shop Small Saturday” concept, which encourages dining out at our local restaurants. Our restaurateurs have supported this new concept in our Restaurant Roundtable discussions - and Local Eats Week is the response.
Stoneham’s restaurant scene is growing. New restaurants such as Java Grind & Grill, Local 438 and Loui Loui join long-time favorites and bring diverse offerings and dining experiences. China Moon’s full-restaurant renovation will delight a loyal and new customer base. The 380 Main Street restaurant under construction is creating lots of buzz.
Stay tuned for updates. The Chamber will be promoting our participating restaurants’ menus, news and delicious promotions for Local Eats Week!
