Atty Erin Alarcon of Clearview Mediation & Consulting, and Atty. Jeff Ugino of Gelerman and Cabral, presented updates on the many changes in employment law affecting small businesses. Topics included minimum wage and overtime, tipping, anti-discrimination, anti-harassment, and anti-disability discrimination. Future issues were discussed including marijuana in the workplace, the Mass. Equal Pay Act Amendment, social media privacy, non-competition agreements and workplace bullying.
