The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Megan Day has been named Executive Director. Ms. Day succeeds Jennifer Welter in that position.
Megan Day is a Stoneham resident. She has served as the Manager for Communications, Data and Reporting at Boston Cares, the largest volunteer agency in New England. She has also served as the Director for Local Outreach, Grants and Assessment at America's Promise Alliance in Washington, DC. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and her Master of Liberal Studies degree in humanities from Georgetown University.
Ms. Day also serves the Stoneham community in a number of volunteer capacities. She is a board member of the Stoneham Conservation Commission and the new Stoneham Community Development Corporation, the Grants and Enrichment Program Coordinator at the Colonial Park Elementary School Parent Teacher Association, Race Director of the Veterans Day Memorial Run, Inc., Program Coordinator of Building Our Kids Success, and a member of the Stoneham Substance Abuse Coalition.
