Just in time for the Chamber's March 30 "Meet Your Stoneham Government" breakfast, the "Guide to Doing Business in Stoneham 2017" has been released. This is the most comprehensive guide for businesses that wish to start up, expand or continue thriving in Stoneham - in only 17 pages.
Need a new business sign? Want to add extra restaurant seating? Need a liquor license? This guide will answer your questions and point you to the right contacts. A final section provides helpful resources that are provided beyond the Stoneham borders.
The "Guide" is a collaborative effort between the Town of Stoneham and the Chamber of Commerce. Erin Wortman, Town Planner and key author of the Guide notes "Oftentimes, the process for opening a new business or renovating an existing use can be incredibly overwhelming. The Guide should serve as a resource for some of the most commonly asked questions and give some guidance to the process. As always, we encourage businesses to contact Town Hall or specific departments for further assistance."
The Guide will soon be available online and in color print versions.
