Nicole Langley is settling in as the new director of the Stoneham Public Library. She assumed her new role this May upon the retirement of longtime director Mary Todd.
Though she has spent the last eight years in Florida, Nicole spent her growing up years nearby and is overjoyed to be back near family and lifelong friends in the greater Boston area.
Nicole has a Master’s degree in Library Science from Simmons College. She also holds a Master’s degree in US History. She has worked and volunteered in a variety of types of libraries over the course of her education and career, including a small historical library, the National Archives, a digital library and, of course, public libraries.
Nicole is ready to serve the community in her new role, and anxious to showcase library services to residents, local businesses, other Town departments and visitors to Stoneham. Library patrons should look for sustainable and noticeable changes in the library and the services. Stop in to meet Nicole, drop her a line at (781) 438-2198 or email her at langley@noblenet.org. Welcome, Nicole!
