New Businesses and Town Groups See Town Day as Way to “Get the Word Out”
The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome its many new members this year. Some of those businesses are launching new enterprises for the first time and looking to the popular Stoneham Town Day as an opportunity to introduce their products and services to the community.
Chamber members at the upcoming Town Day - many launching new businesses - include Aaron’s Taco Cart’el, Arbonne International, British Swim School of Greater Boston, Prestige Homes Real Estate, Rainyday Photography and Stadium Oil Heat.
New Town groups and non-profits also recognize Town Day as an outstanding way to get the word out about their missions and services. Two such organizations this year are the Stoneham CDC (Community Development Corporation) and the new Stoneham Recreation Department.
Since coming on board this spring, Recreation Department director Stephen Angelo has worked hard to get the word out about the re-launch of the department and the plans for brand new programs and activities. “We are extremely excited to be a part of Town Day this year”, notes Angelo. “Town Day is a tremendous event and opportunity for us to showcase what we do to thousands of Stoneham residents and business people. Equally important will be the opportunity to get input from the Stoneham community as to what they would like to see us offer as we continue to grow.”
The 33rd Annual Stoneham Town Day, title sponsored by Hallmark Health System and Winchester Hospital, a member of Lahey Health, is set for Saturday, September 17, 11:00am – 4:00pm (rain date Sunday, September 18, 12:00noon – 5:00pm).
