In its April 25 meeting, the Board of Selectmen voted 4-1 to send a favorable recommendation to Monday, May 1 Town Meeting in support of Warrant Article 23.
This article seeks to modify the sign code to allow businesses to use regulated A-Frame signs in the Central Business District (Stoneham downtown). This recommendation follows the April 12 Planning Board's unanimous support of this warrant article.
A-Frame signage modifiations are an important Year 2 recommendation of the Stoneham Square Strategic Action Plan, adopted by residents in 2014.
Town Meeting is scheduled for Monday, May 1 at 7:00pm in the Stoneham Town Hall auditorium. Warrant Article 23 requires 2/3 voter passage.
