The Stoneham and Wakefield-Lynnfield Chambers collaborated to host the first Restaurant Roundtable, July 19. This first Roundtable was designed to bring the communities' restaurateurs together to discuss challenges and opportunities in their food-related businesses.
This first Roundtable was kicked off by brief remarks from the communities' Town Administrators Steve Maio and Jim Boudreau, and facilitated by Kerry Miller and Lynne Johnston of the Massachusetts Restaurant Association. Jonathan Post, owner of Wakefield's successful new restaurant - "The Porch" was present as discussion leader for this meeting.
Attendees discussed a number of important topics and quickly agreed to schedule a follow-up Roundtable for Tuesday, August 23, 2-4pm. Details will follow.
