About Yoga Moves
Yoga Moves is a Yoga and Wellness studio. We offer a variety of yoga classes and wellness workshops for our greater community. Our classes are based on the Vinyasa style of yoga, we offer Yin Yoga, Restorative, Meditation and Qigong practices as well. Whether you are looking for calm and compassionate, energetic and powerful! We offer classes for everyone at every level in every body!
What do you enjoy most about teaching yoga?
Interacting with our students, helping them reach their yoga goals and their health and wellness goals. Supporting our community in a beautiful space with classes that best meet their individual needs.
Where are you originally from and how did you end up in Stoneham?
I was born and raised in Stoneham, graduated from SHS in 1986. I lived for 14 years in Montana and returned to Stoneham 4 years ago. I am so happy to finally be home again. I love this community, the small town feel so close to the best city in the world. We have a great school system, supportive community that cares not just about the aesthetics of the town, but the people as well.

What do you like most about owning your own business?
The supportive community, the opportunities to participate in town events that give back to the community. My location in Stoneham Square on Main St. is nostalgic. The town takes pride in all the little details from light posts to keeping the parks clean and user friendly. It has great curb appeal. I love all the foot traffic and the Town Common is a great gathering spot for the community. The people do a great job of shopping local and supporting small business in the area.
What do you find most challenging?
It is a constant learning process. It feels a little bit like being in a fish bowl. I can see the consequences of every decision I make immediately good or bad.
What should people know about your business?
Yoga is a practice of mind, body and spirit. Yoga increases your body’s strength, balance, and flexibility. The practice can also decrease stress and anxiety and provides a host of other health benefits from learning proper breathing and alignment. Yoga is for everybody not matter your level of fitness and flexibility. The benefits of a consistent practice manifest in ways you can not imagine. When you practice with skilled, knowledgeable and compassionate teachers and a supportive community progress is achievable for everyone.
