New to Stoneham? The Stoneham Public Library, the Town of Stoneham and the Stoneham Chamber of Commerce are announcing the first Stoneham 101 New Resident Open House for Saturday, October 21 from 10:00am – 12:00noon at the Stoneham Public Library for all new residents to Stoneham since May 1, 2016.
There are lots of things to learn about your new town. Attendees can speak with representatives from Town departments, community and civic groups, school groups, and non-profits serving Stoneham. New residents can fill a Welcome Bag with fun freebies, important new resident information and a special gift. Attendees will also enjoy refreshments and opportunities to mingle with other new residents.
Invitations to the over 500 new households in Stoneham have been mailed by the Stoneham Library, and will arrive in new residents’ mailboxes this week.
