The Stoneham Chamber of Commerce would like to express our gratitude to the many residents who joined us this year in support of the local business community and in celebration of Stoneham at this year’s Town Day. After a year hiatus due to the pandemic, it was wonderful to see the community come together to make the day a success.

Town Day is organized by the Chamber’s Planning Committee led by Jeff Buxton with BIZ-ID, Reem Rajeh with Salem Five Bank, Veronica St. Cyr with Stirling Brandworks, Laura Olifiers and Monica Canova with RE/MAX Andrew Realty, Mike Truesdale with Cummings Properties and Tara Lawler with the Stoneham Chamber. Each committee member took time from their businesses to bring this year’s event together as well as event volunteers Cynthia Mead, Hailey Buxton, Ellen McBride, Anthony Wilson, Dolly Wilson, Caitlin Henaghan, Debbie Catalano, Alex Gonsales, Mike Day, Rob Lawler, Janet Fitzgerald and Heather McDonald. A special thank you to Ray Fowlie, Jr. for bringing together an amazing array of classic cars to enjoy at our first Town Day Kick-Off Concert.
We are also fortunate to partner with the Town of Stoneham annually and are grateful to receive the support, leadership and expertise of the Town Administrator, Dennis Sheehan, Chief of Police, Jim McIntyre and Department of Public Works Director, Brett Gonsalves. With their support and the support of their staff, each department went above and beyond to make sure that Town Day would safe and enjoyable for all who attended.
We are proud of the many Stoneham High School students who gave up their Saturday to volunteer to support the causes they care about and the groups and teams they participate in. The Chamber is especially grateful to Jack Henaghan, Conor Day and members of the Stoneham HS Hockey Team, as well as the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield’s Street Team who singlehandedly ran the Inflatable Park.
Lastly, we are grateful to the many businesses who put a tremendous amount of effort into making the day a special one for the community and to our presenting sponsors, MelroseWakefield Hospital and Winchester Hospital, a member of Beth Israel Lahey Health, platinum sponsors, StonehamBank, Eastern Bank and Salem Five, gold sponsor Excel Orthopaedic Specialists, Agility Orthopedics, RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services, silver sponsors Cassidy Landscaping, Cataldo Ambulance Service, Inc., Commonwealth Pediatrics, Life Care Center of Stoneham, The Stoneham Independent and Mystic Valley Regional Charter School and bronze sponsors Boston Health & Wellness, Common Trust Federal Credit Union, Diane M. Bonanni, DMD Family & Cosmetic Dentistry and Stadium Oil Heat.
The Chamber of Commerce thanks the residents, business owners and the Town of Stoneham for making Town Day a true community celebration and we look forward to next year!
