ABOUT THE STUMPS
The Stumps have been playing together in one form or another since 1996 when piano and sax player (and reluctant Watchmaker) Dave Kurdzionak metMatt Serpone (bass guitar) at Plymouth State College- and have been playing in bands together ever since. Fast forward a decade, they teamed up with players from The Muddy Stumps- Bill Halloran (vocals/guitar) and Kevin Pierce (drums) to form “The Stumps”. Soon after, guitar prodigy Richie Viau joined up on electric guitar.
The Stumps take the best songs from the worlds of rock and roll, blues, andfunk, and “make em stumpy”. You’ll hear songs by The Who, Led Zeppelin, BB King, Van Morrison, and many more- The Stumps always have fun making great music and the audiences always want “one more song!”
