April 12 was the 4th annual Career Awareness Day for Juniors at Stoneham High School. A collaboration of SHS and the Chamber, business leaders in numerous fields speak to students about their professions.
Principal Donna Cargill arranges professions into six broad categories, and assigns professionals, students having these career interests, and separate meeting spaces for presentations and interactive discussion. 100% of the Junior class participates.
This year's 6 broad career categories included: HealthCare, Law Enforcement/Public Safety, Science and Engineering, Education, Home Care/Business ownership and The arts/Law/Journalism.
