The holiday season is here, and we need your help! Each year, the chamber hosts the More Cheer Happens Here holiday campaign. Consider becoming a seasonal sponsor and take advantage of all the visibility associated with these popular events. Here is what your holiday sponsorship will support:
Downtown Holiday Lights – Sunday, November 30 – Mid-January
Each year, the Stoneham Chamber purchases holiday lights for the Stoneham DPW’s amazing annual holiday light display that extends from the town common to Stoneham Square.
Tree Lighting on the Common – Sunday, November 30, 3pm – 5pm
The 21st Tree Lighting on the Town Common will be on Sunday, December 1 from 3pm – 5pm. This popular family event is offered in partnership with StonehamBank, the Stoneham Department of Public Works, Stoneham Police and Fire Departments, Stoneham Recreation, and local sports and youth groups. This year’s celebration will include visits with Santa, craft making and activities, hot chocolate, holiday music and caroling with the Girl Scouts. Additionally, the Stoneham Art Group will be hosting the Winter Arts + Crafts Fair with more than 40 vendors inside the Town Hall Auditorium from 1 – 5pm.
Stoneham Holiday Parade – Saturday, Dec. 13, 11am – 12:30pm
Returning for a sixth year, the popular Holiday Parade features emergency vehicles, decorated cars and floats, holiday mascots and Santa. The parade travels through all the neighborhoods of Stoneham where the streets are lined with attendees.
Holiday Trolly to Whip Hill Santa – Saturday, Dec. 20 + Sunday. Dec. 21, 2pm – 5pm
For more than 40 years, the town has hosted Santa visits at the Whip Hill Estate. Because of the limited parking available, the Stoneham Chamber provides a holiday trolley from Stoneham Square to Whip Hill as part of the festivities.
